Textual Analysis: Along Came A Spider

"He wore a size nine man's work boot... He wanted to leave footprints, plenty of footprints. A man's footprints. Not the footprints of a twelve-year-old." The boy is tired of being thought of as a little kid he wants to be thought of as a man. A lot of kids what to stop being treated as little kids and taken serious. "Yes, black people always do. We persevere. We always suffer in silence." This has some truth to it, but not only the blacks. The Latino people have suffered more than any other race in the world.

Author Profile: James Patterson

Maximum Ride a novel for all ages. The series has 6 Books right now. These books show how it is to live as a freak and with now one but each other to rely on. The books are very interesting with twist and turns at every corner. The first three books where entertaining, but the last three books, The Final Warning, Max, & Fang, deal with thing we can relate to. In The Final Warning the major problem is global warming, in Max the problem is pollution in the water, and his newest book deals with the problems in Africa, all the hunger & diseases, it also deals with the pros and cons of teenage love. All you have to do is read a few pages and you'll be hooked on it forever. I have read those books over hundreds of time, and in record time. I finished the first 5 books in less than 9 hours, befor the sixth book came out.

I'm at war! Fighting for the one that I love.
Solute to all the Veterans. Girl, your love like a nuclear weapons.
I wanna make up right now na na, but before we make up right now na na.
Promise me you'll never do it again, promise me that you never do it again.
I say no! We wanna take it slow. Catch up and now lets go. Together we run the show.
I say no! We wanna take it slow. Don't stop right now, lets go. Together we run the show.

We making love to the music. We taking it slow, ya making me lose it. You shocking my my soul.
Baby you perfect, Can't believe that your mine. Baby you got it. Your Electricfine.
One Moment your gone, the next you are here. Like smoke in my arm, you just disappear.
One moment your here, Then you flash away, your still stuttering. I want you to stay.
If only for tonight, you could be the only one, you could be the only one for me.
Only takes tonight, as a tour guide through your fantasy. In my arms is where you wanna be.

There's a place downtown where the freaks all come around. Its a hole in the wall, its a dirty free for all.
There's a place i know if your looking for a show, where they go hard core and there's glitter in the wall.
I'm Miss Life styles of the rich & famous, you wanna a piece of me. I'm Miss oh my God that Britney shameless, you wanna piece of me.
I'm Miss Extra Extra this just in, you wanna piece of me. I'm Miss shes to big know shes to thin, you wanna piece of me.

Baby now that were alone got a request, would you make me number one on your play list.
Hey, now mama like really, really is that him. I don't see ya before, but ya got on dose big grins.
Don't stop. Make it pop, DJ blow my speakers up. Tonight imma fight till we see the sudden light.

Push Push baby, don't stop for a minuet. I said, Push Push baby, take it to the limit.
Clap it up, baby keep on claping. Back it up, by the way your staking.

Stream of Consciouness

My favorite book seres is finally adding a new book! The Maximum Ride seres, by James Patterson, is finally adding the 6Th book. the first one is The Angel Experiment. The second one is Schools Out Forever. The third is Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports. The forth book is The Final Warning. The fifth is MAX, and the newest one is FANG.

The 6Th book came out on the 15 of March. During the weekend I will go and get buy it. The only problem is that there are so many spoiler that are messing the book up for me, but I will still buy the book because I'm a BIG FAN of Maximum Ride. James Patterson Said himself that he will be doing 21 books! Plus they are in the mix of making a Maximum Ride Movie. Its a goal of mine to have ALL the books and see, and have when out, the movie.

In the first book We are introduced to the flock: Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel. They are six kids who where treated as test subjects. All of them have Big white wings, except Fang who has Big black wings. They have no parents, they're just six kids living on their own. There lives get turned upside down when an old "friend" kidnaps Angel. They travel to where they where born, a laboratory called The School. They save Angel and escape The School. They are on the run until the decide that there lives will never be safe until they destroy The School, and that's where book 1 ends and book 2 begins.

All the books are perfect for all ages. They have Action, Adventure, Romans, mystery, sci-fi, and some comedy. In the newest book, FANG, the flock is being watched by a rich millionaire, and things get shaken up between Max, Fang, and the flock as a new Bird kid, Dylan, arrives, who clams that he was created to be Max's perfect match.

I can't wait till I get the book. I already have a sneak peek at the book thanks to an app on my phone. It going to be amazing, each book has its own twist and problems, and each book actually talks about problems that are going on in the world in an entertaining way. I would defiantly recommend this book to everyone I know.

WGF Workshop Reflection

My experience with the WGF Workshop was fantastic. I learned so much during the workshop. I learned how to write a script for a movie, what has to go in the script to make it realistic, and how to build the script. I really got into my inner writer during the workshop. The instructor, Fred Rappapor, was teaching us in the most interesting way from day one. he really got me interested in script writing. I actually started writing a script on my own, as a side project, Its all thanks to this wonderful workshop. Fred was an amazing instructor.

The WGF Workshop really helped me get in touch with my inner writer. On the script, that was mandatory for us to do, I used some personal info in the script to give it some personal edge. Fred really helped me out with my script. He taught me how to build a script, he taught me about the "All is Lost" moment. Fred was with me every step of the way and for that I thank him. The WGF really gave me and all my classmates a chance to know how writing a scrip can be very fun and can have a very big impact on our lives.

The way the WGF Workshop ended was very cool. The workshop had real actors come and act out our scripts. My script was one of the few that where performed, not many students got to finish on time. They where performed in front of a small amount of students from other classes. I don't want to sound like i have a big head, but it think my script was a really big hit with the crowed. That was probably because my script had some foul language. The actors where amazing, and they only read the script that morning. The WGF workshop really is amazing and I'm glad that i had the opportunity to try it.

Literary Treasure

from Versos Sencillos by Jose Marti

Yo quiero salir del mundo

Por la puerta natural:

En un carrro do hojas verdes

A morir me han de llevar

No me pongan en lo oscuro

A morir como un triador:

!Yo soy bueno, y como bueno

Morire de cara al sol!

Translation:
from Simple Verses

I wish to leave the world

By it's natural door;

In my tomb of green leaves

They are to carry me to die.

Do not put me in the dark

To die like a traitor;

I am good, and like a good thing

I will die with my face to the sun

I first read this poem in one of my brothers school books one day. I really didn't understand what it meant, mostly because i really couldn't read Spanish. The next time I saw that poem was in seventh grade in a book, but i didn't pay much attention to it. The i see it in my tenth grade English book. I finally read it and i under stood it.

The poem is about dieing, but dieing with dignity and as a good person. The second stanza is saying that he is good so he will die as a good person and not like a traitor. This poem is very deep and emotional. I am sure that almost everyone wants to die as a good person and not like a traitor to his people. Its human nature to want to die looking good in the eyes of someone else, weather its family, a loved one, or to God.

A Morir from Versos Sincillos by Jose Marti explains how everyone would like to die, facing the sun. This poem is beautiful and i recommend to everyone to memorize it by heart. I also recommend people to read other writings by Jose Marti. I'm sure they will make everyone have a new perspective of life.
